Bengaluru police arrested two individuals on Monday for allegedly peddling marijuana within the metropolis’s Kamakshipalya space. The police recovered round 4.5 kilogram of marijuana from the accused and seized all of them.
Laxman B Nimbargi, deputy commissioner of police(west), took to Twitter and wrote, “2 accused who have been making an attempt to promote ganja drug have been raided throughout the police station space and 4.530 Kg of ganja was seized.”
The officer additionally stated that the case was registered beneath NDPS (Narcotic Medication and Psychotropic Substances) act on each the accused. “A case has been registered towards the accused beneath the NDPS Act and so they have been arrested and the investigation is occurring,” the DCP added.
Earlier on Friday, Bengaluru customs officers arrested an individual at Kempegowda worldwide airport on Friday for allegedly travelling with narcotic medication. The accused was travelling from Ethiopia’s Addis Ababa to Bengaluru.
