Ashok Gehlot apologises to Sonia Gandhi for Rajasthan crisis, says won’t contest Congress presidential poll

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot Thursday mentioned that he is not going to contest the upcoming Congress presidential election. Gehlot made his determination public after assembly celebration president Sonia Gandhi on the latter’s residence.

The assembly comes amid hypothesis over whether or not Gehlot would file his nomination for the Congress president’s election after the disaster in Rajasthan. Gehlot arrived at Gandhi’s residence previous to the scheduled assembly time.
