RBI says bank credit growth accelerates to 17.2 % in September quarter: Report

Financial institution credit score progress improved to 17.2 per cent within the September quarter 2022 from 7 per cent within the year-ago interval, reflecting pick-up in financial actions.

“The share of financial savings deposit in whole deposits, which elevated from 32.4 per cent in June 2019 to a peak of 35.2 in June 2022, moderated marginally to 34.7 within the newest quarter,” the RBI added.
