Toyota Kirloskar Motor vice chairperson Vikram Kirloskar dies

India’s automotive trade stalwart and Toyota Kirloskar Motor vice chairperson Vikram S Kirloskar died on Tuesday, the corporate stated. He was 64. In keeping with preliminary stories, Kirloskar suffered an enormous coronary heart assault.

“We’re extraordinarily saddened to tell the premature demise of Mr. Vikram S. Kirloskar, Vice Chairman, Toyota Kirloskar Motor on twenty ninth November 2022. At the moment of grief, we request everybody to wish that his soul rests in peace,” the corporate tweeted late on Tuesday.

“We prolong our deepest sympathies to his household and pals. Final respect will be paid at Hebbal Crematorium, Bengaluru, on thirtieth November 2022 at 1pm,” it stated.

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, the chief chairperson of Bengaluru-headquartered biopharmaceuticals firm Biocon, stated, “Devastated with Vikram’s surprising demise. He was such a pricey good friend who I’ll massively miss. I share the ache and unconsolable grief of Gitanjali Manasi n the household.”

Congress MP Karti Chidambaram expressed grief and condolences over Kirloskar’s loss of life.

“Deeply saddened by the passing away of Toyota Kirloskar Vice Chairman Vikram Kirloskar. I’ve many fond reminiscences of our interactions. Condolences to his household, pals & colleagues,” the Lok Sabha member stated.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), which sells a spread of automobiles, is a three way partnership between the Japanese auto main Toyota Motor Firm and the Kirloskar Group.
