Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday referred to as the arrest of his high aide Saumya Chaurasia a “political act” and warranted that they are going to “struggle towards it”.
“As I’ve been saying, the arrest of my Deputy Secretary Saumya Chaurasia by the ED is a political act. We are going to struggle towards it with all our may,” CM Baghel wrote on Twitter.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday arrested Chaurasia – the deputy secretary to the Chhattisgarh CM – for allegedly being concerned in an unlawful mining case involving over ₹150 crores.
