Karnataka bags National Energy Conservation Award 2022 | Bengaluru

The Karnataka Renewable Power Growth Ltd (KREDL) has received the primary prize within the State Designated Company (SDA Group-1) sector on the Nationwide Power Conservation Awards – 2022, given by the Union Ministry of Energy.

The Nationwide Power Conservation Awards – 2022 was organised by the Bureau of Power Effectivity (BEE) as a part of the ‘Nationwide Power Conservation Day’ in New Delhi on Wednesday, an official assertion stated.

The President of India, Droupadi Murmu offered the award to Kumar Naik, Extra Chief Secretary, (Power) to the Authorities of Karnataka, and KREDL Managing Director Rudrappaiah Okay P as an appreciation for the achievement within the subject of vitality conservation, the assertion learn.

The State/KREDL bagged the first Prize for the 2nd time in a row below ?SDA(Group-l) Class? within the ?NECA-2022?. The KREDL was chosen for the distinguished award based mostly on the vitality effectivity initiatives carried out by them within the state in addition to the knowledge collected from the opposite respective state authorities departments, it added.

Karnataka Minister for Power, Kannada, and Tradition, V Sunil Kumar congratulated the KREDL officers on profitable this award.
