New Delhi Tv Ltd’s founders stated on Friday they’ve determined to switch most of their shares within the firm to billionaire Gautam Adani, giving his conglomerate management over practically 65% of the information community.
Radhika and Prannoy Roy will promote a 27.26% stake in NDTV to an entity owned by Adani, giving it 64.71% of NDTV, regulatory filings by NDTV confirmed.
Adani already held greater than 37% in NDTV after an open supply and an earlier acquisition of an organization owned by the founders.

“The AMG Media Community, after the current open supply, is now the only largest shareholder in NDTV. Consequently, with mutual settlement we now have determined to divest most of our shares in NDTV to the AMG Media Community,” the founders stated in a press release.
“Because the open supply was launched, our discussions with Gautam Adani have been constructive; all of the options we made had been accepted by him positively and with openness,” they added.
Radhika and Prannoy Roy will retain a mixed 5% stake in NDTV.
