The Bengaluru Police have booked a scholar for making a hoax bomb menace linked to the Kempegowda Worldwide Airport (KIA) through a tweet on December 10. Deputy Commissioner of Police for Northeast Bengaluru, Anoop A Shetty, stated “a bomb menace is just not a joke” and appealed to the general public to chorus from such behaviour.

“A scholar has been booked for making hoax bomb menace to KIA. ‘ . ,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
The coed had reportedly tweeted: “I’ll bomb the blr airport simply to allow them to rebuild one nearer to town (sic).” He later deleted the tweet.
