Karnataka: Police rescue 10-year-old boy kidnapped for ₹10 lakh ransom | Bengaluru

Police have rescued a 10-year-old boy, who was kidnapped from Siddeshwar Colony in Kalaburagi for a ransom of ₹10 lakh.

The culprits, who got here in an autorickshaw kidnapped the boy, Sudarshan Rathod, who was ready for his college bus.

After that, the abductors referred to as the boy’s father Gurunath and demanded a ₹10 lakh ransom.

They warned him in opposition to going to the police if he wished his little one to be secure.

The abductors additionally requested the sufferer’s father to go away the ransom quantity in a bag close to a faculty in Pala village on the outskirts of town. After that, Gurunath knowledgeable the Kalaburagi College Station police concerning the kidnap. Initially, the police tried to hint the contact variety of the abductors and located that the SIM card used to make the ransom name was registered in a fictitious title.

In the meantime, the police unfold the dragnet throughout town to nab the abductors.

After arriving on the spot, the accused, sensing police presence, left the boy and fled. The police then rescued the boy.

“After getting the knowledge, the police launched an operation and rescued the boy. The police instantly went into motion. On studying about this, the accused fled leaving the boy in a abandoned space on the outskirts of Pala village,” DCP Kalaburagi A Srinivasulu mentioned.
