In Karnataka, Mysuru MP Pratap Simha on Friday stated that auto rickshaws and two wheelers won’t be allowed on the Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway, including that the car drivers should use the service highway which is parallel to the expressway. Chatting with reporters, Pratap Simha harassed, “Two wheelers and three wheelers won’t be allowed on the most recent expressway. Bengaluru – Mysuru expressway is likely one of the distinctive expressways within the nation and it’s solely for 4 wheelers and heavy autos.”

Nevertheless, the Bharatiya Janata Celebration (BJP) MP clarified that bikes and autos shall be allowed till the service highway comes into operation. “Bikes and auto rickshaws shall be allowed for a quick time frame however they can’t be given entry to the expressway as soon as the service highway will get prepared. I hope the commuters perceive and cooperate with the federal government,” Simha added.

Earlier, Simha additionally urged union transport minister Nitin Gadkari to call the expressway as ‘Cauvery Expressway’ because the river Cauvery passes by way of Karnataka.

In the meantime, Gadkari inspected the expressway on Thursday and introduced that it is going to be open for commuters in February. The ten-lane challenge is 117 km lengthy, divided into two carriages – one is Bengaluru to Nidagatta and Nidagatta to Mysore.

Nitin Gadkari on Thursday tweeted, “Minimising the congestion in Bengaluru by driving the gang to a relatively cheaper cost-of-living metropolis, the challenge will lengthen paths for brand spanking new investments by way of industries, actual property, and academic establishments in Mysuru.” He additionally stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi or President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the expressway, relying on their schedule.
