Seven horses and a llama had been seized Tuesday in Arapahoe County as a part of an animal cruelty investigation.
Deputies served a search warrant within the 89000 block of East County Highway 18, close to Deer Path, after receiving a grievance in regards to the animals’ remedy and residing situations, based on an Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Workplace information launch.
The sheriff’s workplace mentioned the horses are “extraordinarily malnourished” and that not one of the animals had entry to meals or water. The llama was described as being skinny, with hair so matted that its “motion was hampered.”
