Retail inflation eases to 5.72% in December from 5.88% in November: Govt data

India’s annual retail inflation eased to five.72% in December from 5.88% within the earlier month, authorities information confirmed on Thursday.

Analysts in a Reuters ballot had predicted annual inflation of 5.90% in December.
