Coastal Karnataka to get light to moderate rainfall till October 5

The India Meteorological Division (IMD) has predicted gentle to reasonable rainfall within the coastal areas of Karnataka until October 5.

The IMD said that Arkalgud in Hassan district acquired 70 mm rainfall owing to southwest monsoon Monday, whereas different locations reminiscent of Srirangapatna in Mandya district acquired 40 mm rainfall, Tikkota in Vijayapura district and Nelogi in Kalaburgi district acquired 30mm every.

Shirali and Vijayapura recorded the utmost temperature of 32.4 diploma Celsius within the state Monday, whereas Bagalkot recorded the bottom at 18 diploma Celsius, IMD mentioned.

“Within the subsequent 24 hours thunderstorms are prone to happen at remoted locations over all of the districts of coastal Karnataka and Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Koppal districts of north-interior Karnataka and Ballari, Chamarajanagar, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Hassan, Kodagu, Mandya, Mysuru, Shivamogga and Tumkur districts of south-interior Karnataka,” it said.

Whereas the utmost and minimal temperatures are prone to be 26 and 19 diploma Celsius in Bengaluru, the Met Division mentioned that the town would have a cloudy sky for the subsequent 48 hours and there could possibly be gentle showers.

Since October 1, Bengaluru has acquired 21 mm of rainfall.
