India saying ‘Modi tera…’: In Meghalaya, PM reacts to ‘kabar khudegi’ slogan | Latest News India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday attacked Congress for its “offensive considering and language”, saying the nation will give them a befitting reply. Addressing a rally in poll-bound Meghalaya, Prime Minister Modi mentioned he can see BJP’s presence all around the state and persons are saying ‘Modi Tera Kamal Khilega’ (Modi, your lotus will bloom) when these rejected by the nation are actually chanting ‘Modi teri kabar khudegi‘ (Modi, your grave can be dug).

A purported video of Congress leaders protesting at Delhi airport tarmac towards celebration colleague Pawan Khera’s arrest has been extensively shared on social media the place they are often heard elevating slogans together with “tanashahi nahi chalegi” (down with dictatorship) and “Modi teri kabar khudegi“.

Retorting to the alleged slogan, Modi mentioned that the nation will give a “befitting reply” to the folks with offensive considering and language.

The prime minister additional mentioned that Meghalaya wants a “Individuals’s first” authorities as an alternative of a “household first” authorities.

“At present, Meghalaya desires a authorities with Individuals First as an alternative of Household First, so at the moment ‘lotus flower’ has change into synonymous with power, peace and stability of Meghalaya. Meghalaya will go to Meeting polls on February 27 together with Nagaland. The counting of votes will happen on March 2.
