Check out this traveller’s list of offbeat places you can visit around Bengaluru | Bengaluru

A listing of less-known locations one can go to round Bengaluru on two-wheeler has been shared by a traveller on Twitter. These locations are inside 150km from the Karnataka capital, with a few of them situated in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

“Been touring fairly a bit recently exploring among the locations round Bangalore. Here is a tiny thread of offbeat locations you’ll be able to go to for a day journey round Bangalore. Hopefully I’ll hold updating the checklist each weekend 🙂 #Bengaluru #journey,” the person, named Musthaq Ahamad, wrote on Twitter, as he posted some photos together with his bike.

Here is his checklist:

1. Horsley Hills: A 3-hour trip by way of highways and delightful villages, the traveller wrote, it’s located round 150km away from Bengaluru in Andhra Pradesh.

2. Panchapalli Dam: That is in Tamil Nadu’s Dharmapuri, round 80km from Bengaluru. Coated by hills on each side, the dam is picturesque with inexperienced grasses and funky breeze. An ideal picnic spot for these looking for a while out with oneself, household oryou and your loved ones or buddies.

3. Gudibande Fort: The fort is at a distance of 100km from town. “This fort presents much more than only a hike, the huge landscapes, hills, rivers and tiny villages, every thing in a single body!” Ahamad tweeted.

4. Mutturayaswamy Temple: Simply 50km from town, the one-hour journey required to get right here presents a run by way of lovely villages, landscapes and off-road trails of the Yedumadu village, the trveller stated in one of many tweets.

5. Timmappana Betta: This hill is situated at Dasanahalli village, round 80km kms away from Bengaluru. “It is a tiny spot on prime of a hill (extra like an enormous rock) providing you a birds eye view of huge inexperienced landscapes (and extra rocks),” Ahamad wrote in a subsequent tweet.

6. Forest Division Watch Tower: “Positioned at round 100 kms away from town, this outdated watch tower can provide you north east vibes throughout monsoons,” he wrote whereas cautioning that it’s not secure to climb the watch tower. “You want permission from the forest guard to get right here,” he added.
