Russia’s presidency of the UN Safety Council for the month of April is “a slap within the face to the worldwide group”, Ukraine’s International Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated on Saturday.
“I urge the present UNSC members to thwart any Russian makes an attempt to abuse its presidency,” Dmytro Kuleba stated in the beginning of Russia’s tenure of the physique’s rotating presidency.
In a press release on Twitter, Dmytro Kuleba referred to as Russia “an outlaw on the UNSC”.
Later this month, Moscow has stated International Minister Sergei Lavrov is planning to chair a UN Safety Council assembly on “efficient multilateralism”.
