Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], April 8 (ANI): The BJP’s West Bengal chief Sukanta Majumdar alleged that some tribal girls, who had joined the social gathering, had been compelled by the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) to carry out a ‘dandavat parikrama’ as punishment and had been compelled to rejoin the state’s ruling social gathering.

“TMC did every part to insult them (Tribal neighborhood). I attraction to all individuals of the tribal neighborhood throughout the nation to protest towards the social gathering as they’re anti-tribal,” Majumdar mentioned.

The BJP state chief shared a video on Twitter through which three girls may be seen performing ‘dandavat parikrama’.

“Martina Kisku, Shiuli Mardi, Thakran Soren and Malati Murmu, residents of Tapan Gofanagar, Tapan, joined the BJP yesterday. They belong to the ST neighborhood. At present, TMC goons compelled them to return to the ruling social gathering and punished them by asking to do a Dandavat Parikrama,” tweeted Majumdar

“TMC has again and again insulted tribal individuals. This takes it even larger. That is extremely condemnable. We firmly stand with our karyakartas and can do every part to guard them,” he added.

Earlier on Sunday, clashes erupted in the course of the BJP’s Shobha Yatra (procession) in Hooghly. The state authorities later issued prohibitory orders and in addition suspended web companies throughout the district.

Notably, violent clashes erupted in West Bengal’s Howrah throughout a Ram Navami procession.

Final week, a number of autos had been set on hearth after two teams clashed in Howrah amid Ram Navami celebrations. Through the procession, the rioters vandalised private and non-private properties whereas setting autos on hearth.

Following the violence in Howrah, the West Bengal authorities on March 31 handed over the probe to Prison Investigation Division (CID). A particular crew led by Inspector Common of Police, CID Sunil Choudhury initiated the investigation. (ANI)
