Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], April 16 (ANI): Former Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, who resigned as Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) MLA on Sunday, mentioned he was but to determine whether or not he would be a part of the Congress.

Shettar tendered his resignation as an MLA to Karnataka Meeting Speaker, Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, at Sirsi on Sunday.

On being requested whether or not he will likely be becoming a member of Congress, the previous Karnataka chief minister mentioned, “I’ve not determined but.”

Earlier, on Sunday, Shettar mentioned some Karnataka BJP leaders have been mishandling the get together within the State.

“I’m going to tender my resignation as an MLA and also will resign from the first membership of the get together. Reacting to former Jagadish Shettar’s resignation as an MLA, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday mentioned that the resignation of Shettar is unlucky.

“It’s unlucky that he (Jagadish Shettar) goes to resign at this time. He was a senior chief, former CM, speaker, get together president and minister additionally. Nonetheless, when a celebration has determined that some seniors have to offer some strategy to the youthful era,” CM Bommai mentioned.

In the meantime, former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Sunday mentioned if Shettar comes again to BJP, the get together would welcome him.

Yediyurappa mentioned, “We made him (Jagadish Shettar) the chief minister of Karnataka and the BJP state president. The statements given by him have made us sad. Folks knew about Jagadish Shettar solely due to BJP. I wish to ask Jagadish Shettar why is he becoming a member of Congress. If he comes again to BJP, we are going to welcome him.”

He mentioned Folks from Karnataka is not going to forgive Shettar.

“Dharmendra Pradhan had supplied Jagadish Shatter, a ministerial place within the cupboard. We had supplied a ticket to Jagadish Shatter’s household. However he didn’t reply,” he mentioned.
