Two days after his arrest, the pastor accused of sacrilege of Gutka Sahib (Sikh holy e-book) tried suicide by slitting his throat with a blade whereas in police custody on Wednesday.
On Monday, police arrested two individuals, together with a neighborhood pastor Vicky Masih, after torn pages of Gutka Sahib had been discovered scattered on a highway in Golewala village of Faridkot district. The accused had been despatched to police custody until April 27 by the native court docket.
Officers, who didn’t want to be named, stated Masih managed to pay money for a blade and slit his throat in an try to commit suicide inside Faridkot’s Crime Investigation Company (CIA) police station. “He (Masih) was being interrogated over his involvement within the sacrilege case. Faridkot senior superintendent of police Harjeet Singh stated Masih tried suicide by slitting his throat. “He was rushed to the hospital, and we adopted all of the authorized procedures.
