A person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Aurora early Sunday morning, in line with the police division.
The crash occurred on Chambers Highway close to East thirty eighth Avenue at about 1:30 a.m., in line with the police division. The motive force of a Ford F-250 truck was driving south on Chambers Highway when the car struck an Infinity I30 sedan that was making a left flip from the Interstate 70 off-ramp onto Chambers Highway.
The truck broadsided the sedan, killing the sedan’s driver. The truck then went off the highway and down an embankment. The truck’s driver and a passenger, each males, survived with minor accidents.
Aurora police Sgt. Religion Goodrich mentioned in a information launch that “intoxication” might have contributed to the crash. The investigation is ongoing. The person who died has not been publicly recognized.
