Colorado Parks and Wildlife executed a rescue match for Independence Day once they responded to an injured bald eagle on the Fourth of July.
Wildlife officers got here to the hen’s assist after the fledgling had been behaving unusually for the previous couple days in southern Douglas County, CPW stated.
Officers captured the injured eaglet, wrapping its physique in a towel and inserting it inside a provider. The eagle was taken to Birds of Prey Basis, a Broomfield-based nonprofit devoted to rehabilitating and releasing injured and orphaned birds.
The hen shall be handled for a attainable head damage, CPW stated.
