Loveland police are investigating a deadly bike accident that occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday.
When officers arrived on the scene of the collision involving a bike within the 6300 block of North Garfield Ave., they found the motorcyclist had life-threatening accidents, based on a Loveland Police Division information launch.
The 37-year-old Loveland man was taken to an area hospital by Thompson Valley EMS, the place he was pronounced lifeless.
Preliminary investigations revealed the motorcyclist was touring southbound on North Garfield Ave at a excessive charge of velocity, the discharge stated. He struck the again of a truck towing a trailer and was ejected off the bike.
The man was not carrying a helmet, the discharge added.
Police are continuing to research to determine if velocity and alcohol are contributing elements of the crash.There have been no different accidents.
The identification of the motorcyclist might be launched later by the Larimer County Coroner’s Workplace.
