LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Federal Aviation Administration has launched an investigation after a personal jet carrying the Gonzaga College males’s basketball workforce practically crossed a runway as one other flight was taking off Friday at Los Angeles Worldwide Airport.
The airplane operated by Key Lime Air was ordered by air visitors controllers to cease as a Delta plane took off. Nobody was injured.
“Air visitors controllers directed Key Lime Air Flight 563 to carry wanting crossing a runway at Los Angeles Worldwide Airport as a result of a second plane was taking off from the runway on the time,” the FAA stated in a press release. “When the Embraer E135 jet proceeded to cross the maintain bars, air visitors controllers advised the pilots to cease. A plane-spotting livestream reveals the incident and captured audio of an air visitors controller telling the Key Lime Air flight to “cease, cease, cease.” The flight instantly stopped, after which proceeded after just a few moments.
