A person charged with first-degree homicide for a deadly stabbing in Federal Heights was apprehended in Mexico, in response to a Thursday announcement by the seventeenth Judicial District Legal professional’s Workplace.
The Adams County District Legal professional’s Workplace charged him on Jan. 5 with first-degree homicide, in response to earlier reporting by the Denver Put up.
Adrian Carracedo-Vega, 35, is accused of stabbing Sachely Diaz on Dec. 30 exterior the Tuscan Heights Residences, 1700 W. eighty fifth Ave., in Federal Heights. Carracedo-Vega fled the scene, officers say.
Diaz died at a hospital after the stabbing. Police consider she and Carracedo-Vega knew one another.
Carracedo-Vega was apprehended due to the FBI Secure Streets Process Drive. In keeping with the DA’s workplace, he will probably be extradited again to Colorado shortly.
