Defence minister Rajnath Singh will host a conclave of his counterparts on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 14th Aero India 2023, Asia’s greatest army airshow, in Bengaluru.
In a press release, the defence ministry stated ministers of foreign-friendly nations and India will have interaction in carrying ahead Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ imaginative and prescient for a safe and affluent future on the conclave. The conclave is themed “Shared Prosperity By way of Enhanced Engagements in Defence.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated Aero India 2023 and likened New India to a fighter pilot who “thinks quick, thinks far and takes fast choices.”
He highlighted the potential of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and the way the nation’s quest for self-reliance had unlocked “new alternate options and alternatives” for the world.
Over 800 defence companies, representatives of round 100 international nations, 32 defence ministers, air chiefs of 29 air forces, and 73 CEOs of international and Indian unique gear producers are collaborating within the 14th version of the biennial airshow.
As many as 251 memorandums of understanding value greater than ₹75,000 crore are anticipated to be signed through the five-day airshow.
