On October 12, SpiceJet aircraft coming from Goa made an emergency touchdown at Hyderabad airport following an incident of smoke within the cabin.
In a press release on Monday, DGCA mentioned it’s investigating the incident and primarily based on the preliminary investigation, there was proof of engine oil in engine bleed-off valve. This led to the oil coming into the plane air con system that resulted in smoke within the cabin.
