Akasa Air on Tuesday introduced it would function every day flights between Hyderabad and Bengaluru and between Hyderabad and Goa ranging from January 25. Two further Hyderabad-Bengaluru frequencies can be added beginning February 15, the airline mentioned.
Akasa Air Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer Praveen Iyer mentioned, “Commencing operations from Hyderabad, our thirteenth vacation spot with every day flights to Goa and Bengaluru additional strengthens our presence in southern India.”

Akasa Air, based by late inventory market investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala together with aviation business veteran Vinay Dube, launched its operations in August 2022. With the graduation of the Hyderabad flights, the airline will cross the milestone of over 575 weekly flights on a complete of 21 introduced routes throughout 14 cities, they mentioned.
The airline will proceed to develop its community to ascertain a robust pan-India presence specializing in metro to tier 2 and three route connectivity, supported by a fleet growth plan that provides a brand new plane each 15 days, they mentioned. Akasa Air’s fleet dimension which is now 14, can be 18 plane by the top of March 2023 and over the following 4 years, the airline will add 54 further plane, taking its whole fleet dimension to 72 plane, they added.
