Amaravati farmers protest house sites to poor, many held | Latest News India

Pressure prevailed in Thullur city of Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday because the police arrested a number of farmers who have been agitating in opposition to the distribution of residential plots for the weaker sections from different components of the state within the capital area, officers and farmers’ leaders stated.

We’re solely agitating in help of the reliable rights of Amaravati farmers,” Sravan Kumar stated, speaking to reporters on the police station.
