Acclaimed architect Robert A.M. Stern, a distinguished determine in American structure who designed notable museums, libraries and residences, died Thursday, in line with a press release from the agency he based. He was 86.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1939, Stern based the Robert A. M. Stern Architects agency, now referred to as RAMSA, in 1969.
