India on Friday efficiently check fired Astra past visible air-to-air missile from Su-30 Mk-I plane off the coast of Odisha, demonstrating its indigenous defence capabilities. “The Defence Analysis and Growth Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Air Power (IAF) efficiently carried out the flight-test of indigenous past visible vary air-to-air missile ‘Astra’ geared up with indigenous radio frequency seeker from Su-30 Mk-I platform,” the defence ministry stated.
