An Aurora man was arrested on suspicion of homicide after police say he deliberately crashed into a bike rider in November, killing the person.
Jeremy Austen Home, 41, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree homicide after deliberation within the demise of Dorian Matthew Torrez, in accordance with the Aurora Police Division.
Home was driving a 2000 Buick Century close to the intersection of South Havana Road and East Jewell Avenue at round 12:15 a.m. on Nov. 18 when he allegedly hit Torrez, who was driving a 2002 Honda motorbike, and fled the scene.
Torrez, 34, was taken to the hospital and later died.
Aurora police didn’t say how the 2 males knew one another and couldn’t instantly be reached for remark.
Home and Alexandra Lynn Noorlun, 33, have been recognized as suspects within the case and arrested Tuesday after barricading themselves at dwelling within the 12200 block of East Kansas Place. They surrendered to police after two hours.
Noorlun, who can also be an Aurora resident, was arrested on suspicion of being an adjunct to against the law and tampering with proof, each felonies.
Home is being held with out bail on the Arapahoe County Detention Heart and is ready to look in courtroom Friday, in accordance with courtroom information.
Noorlun is in custody on a $50,000 bail. Her subsequent courtroom date was not out there Wednesday.
