An Aurora man was shot and killed early Wednesday morning after he and his son confronted and chased two individuals who had stolen scooters from the person’s residence within the metropolis’s Del Mar Park neighborhood.
The person, 49, and his son had woken to the sounds of two suspects stealing two scooters outdoors their residence on the 900 block of Paris Road, based on an Aurora police press launch. When the person and his son confronted the thieves, the 2 suspects fled on the stolen autos. The sufferer and his son then chased the suspects in a truck because the suspects opened hearth on them.
