An autorickshaw caught fireplace in Mangaluru metropolis on Saturday, and the motive force and a passenger sustained burn accidents, police mentioned.

Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar mentioned a bag carried by the passenger, who boarded the auto at Nagori, caught fireplace in the course of the journey. The autorickshaw was going in the direction of Pumpwell .
“Round 5.15 pm, fireplace was noticed in an autorickshaw. The driving force has mentioned that fireside was noticed inside a bag carried by the passenger. The driving force and the passenger suffered burn accidents. Now we have shifted them to a hospital,” mentioned the commissioner.
When requested if there was an explosion, he mentioned he doesn’t have any details about the forensic consultants inspecting the placement. “We aren’t certain if it was a blast… FSL has collected samples from the placement to determine the fabric and contents of the bag. They’re doing the assessments,” he added.
“We don’t know the character of the incident but. It is just the motive force who has seen it. He mentioned there was a sudden fireplace. He’s at present present process therapy, so we haven’t been to speak to him intimately,” he added.
Kumar mentioned, “There isn’t any must unfold rumours or create panic over the incident.” .
