Bengaluru: 7 members of a family attempt suicide | Bengaluru

Bengaluru Seven members of a household tried suicide on Thursday evening, allegedly due mounting debt, in Doddamannugudde village of Ramanagara district in Karnataka, police mentioned.

One lady died within the incident and the situation of the remaining six folks, together with her husband and three kids, is claimed to be vital in Mandya district hospital, police mentioned.

The incident occurred at round 8pm on Thursday , when the household tried to kill themselves by consuming poison, police mentioned.

A 31-year-old man, who lived in Subbarayappanapalya in Bengaluru, was working as day by day wage labourer and had incurred a debt of greater than ₹11 lakh. He was being hounded by quite a lot of moneylenders and had moved to his relative’s home in Doddamannugudde village of Ramanagara district, police mentioned.

Bored with moneylenders even in Doddamannugudde, he combined rat poison with the meal which everybody consumed on Thursday, police mentioned. “By 2.30 pm everybody had completed lunch. His spouse died instantly. After someday, everybody fell ailing. The neighbours who got here to know concerning the incident, instantly admitted all of them to the Ramanagara district hospital. Later, they had been admitted to Mandya district hospital for additional therapy,” a police official mentioned requesting anonymity. The person’s mom and sister are within the hospital in a vital situation.
