Bengaluru bus driver thrashes biker in road rage, video goes viral | Bengaluru

In a video that has gone viral on social media platforms, a person was seen being thrashed repeatedly by a bus driver in Bengaluru’s Yelahanka New City space. The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday afternoon when the sufferer, who was on a motorcycle, got here in the way in which of the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Company (BMTC) bus which was attempting to overhaul one other bus. The 2 buses had been reportedly racing with one another.

In response to a Deccan Herald report, the biker – recognized as 44-year-old Sandeep Boniface – had allegedly proven a hand gesture to the bus driver. Enraged, the motive force went to the motorist and hit him to trigger bleeding on the person’s ears. He additionally snatched away the bike keys and cellphone. When the person adopted the motive force to the bus to take the keys and cellphone again, he was roughed up, the report stated.

A video of the incident – that Hindustan Instances couldn’t independently confirm – was shared by Twitter consumer Rakesh Prakash. Shot on a smartphone, the video confirmed the motive force repeatedly hitting and kicking him. A girl may be heard screaming within the background whereas different passengers on the bus may be seen attempting to cease the motive force.

Either side had filed a grievance with the police, studies stated. The person reportedly suffered accidents on his ribs, leg, and face. In the meantime, the motive force in his grievance alleged that the finger gesture had triggered the argument between the 2.

The BMTC subsequently suspended the motive force for assaulting the biker.
