Bengaluru-Delhi plane abandons over 50 flyers, DGCA issues show cause notice | Bengaluru

In response, the airline apologised to passengers who have been left behind on the airport and stated an “inadvertent oversight” within the reconciliation of the flight to Delhi led to the incident.

Reviews point out the airline organized for a separate flight for the forgotten passengers after realising its error. The unique flight – G8-116 – left 6.30 am.

A number of passengers on Monday took to social media alleging that they have been left behind as they have been ready in a shuttle bus to board the aircraft.

“Flight G8 116 (BLR-DEL) flew leaving passengers on floor! Greater than 50 passengers on 1 bus have been left on floor & the flight took off with simply passengers of 1 bus on boarded. Is @GoFirstairways @JM_Scindia @PMOIndia working in sleep? No Fundamental checks!” a passenger, Satish Kumar, wrote on Twitter.

To this, the airline responded with, “Hello Satish, we’re sorry for the inconvenience. We now have shared your concern alongside together with your particulars to our group they usually’ll help you on the earliest.”

A report additionally stated 53 of the overall 55 passengers have been flown to the nationwide capital on a separate aircraft, whereas the remaining two passengers requested for a refund, which was paid by the airline.
