A 14-year-old lady died in Bengaluru after mistakenly consuming herbicide saved in a bottle that beforehand contained aloe vera juice, police mentioned.
The lady has been recognized as Nidhi Krishna, a Class 8 pupil who was a resident of Deepanjali Nagar.
The incident occurred on March 14, when the lady’s mom, a homemaker, was current at their residence and her father was away at work. The lady’s mother and father had repurposed the empty bottle for storing the poisonous substance.
Realising the error, the household rushed her to the hospital, however regardless of medical intervention, she did not get well and succumbed to poisoning on Tuesday.
The police have filed an unnatural loss of life report and urged households to train warning when storing hazardous chemical substances at residence.
