A house guard working in Bengaluru has been arrested for allegedly posting a provocative message focusing on Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Instagram.
The accused has been recognized as Sampath Salian, a local of Karkala in Udupi district. His arrest was introduced on Sunday by the Udupi district police.
An area Congress employee, Suraj Kukkunduru, had filed a criticism concerning the Instagram publish. A probe revealed that it was Salian who had posted the remark.
A courtroom has remanded Salian in judicial custody for 14 days.
