Bengaluru rain: death toll rises to 4 as pillion rider killed after tree branch crashes on him | Bangalore News

The dying toll associated to heavy rain that lashed Bengaluru rose to 4 on Wednesday after a tree department fell on high of the pillion rider of a two-wheeler at Koramangala.

In accordance with police, Mudala Giriyappa, 48, was travelling along with his buddy Ramesh on a two-wheeler round 2.45 pm. Whereas on the best way, a tree department fell on Giriyappa’s head close to Printo Junction at Koramangala fifth Block, injuring him and his buddy.

Giriyappa was rushed to the close by St John’s Hospital however died with out responding to remedy. The Koramangala police have registered a case.

The primary dying associated to the heavy downpour was reported on Monday morning when the compound wall of a software program agency positioned at Mahadevapura collapsed on a lady who was employed as a housekeeping staffer.

Later, on Monday night, two individuals died of electrocution whereas attempting to take away water from the flooded basement of a constructing in BTM Format. The duo had been recognized as Manmohan Kamath, 63, and Dinesh, 12.
