Bengaluru: Two killed, three injured after building roof collapses

Two labourers have been killed and three others sustained minor accidents after the roof of a constructing collapsed close to Hoodi in Mahadevapura suburb of Karnataka’s Bengaluru metropolis. The police mentioned that the victims have been from Bihar.

“Whereas the incident occurred at 5:30 am on Tuesday, it got here to mild solely when different staff went to the location. We now have taken up a case of dying resulting from negligence in opposition to the proprietor of the constructing and investigation is on. The labourers have been employed to demolish an outdated constructing close to Graphite India manufacturing facility and clear the particles. They slept in an open space, because it was raining closely they slept on the bottom ground of the constructing. The roof collapsed on them resulting in the dying of two and the others have acquired minor accidents,” a police officer mentioned.

The police recognized the 2 victims as Zainuddin (37) and Armaan (28). The fireplace division officers rushed the three injured to a hospital.
