Bengaluru: Two pillion riders fall to death from KIA expressway

Two postgraduate college students driving pillion on their collegemate’s bike died after they had been thrown off the automobile and fell 30 toes down from the Kempegowda Worldwide Airport (KIA) elevated expressway close to Bengaluru’s Yelahanka suburb Saturday morning. The probe revealed that the victims had been getting back from Nandi hills after watching the dawn and the accident occurred round 10.45 am.

The deceased had been recognized as Amol Pramod Amte, 29, from Maharashtra, and Amit Singh, 29, from Delhi. They had been college students of the Nationwide Institute of Style Know-how (NIFT) in HSR Structure. The rider, Saurav Dev, 28, from Rajasthan, additionally suffered accidents, stated the police who suspect that sleep deprivation may be one of many causes for him dropping management of the bike.

It was a case of triple driving and the rushing bike spun uncontrolled as one of many pillion riders stepped on the two-wheeler’s stand assuming it to be a footrest, the police stated.
