Bharati, Poonam emerge women’s champions UTT Para TT National Championship

Bharti Ben Pabaria, Poonam, Pragati Kesarvani, Prachi Pandey, Kartik Sharma and Sandip Dangi emerged winners within the Nationwide Para Desk Tennis Championship carried out by the Madhya Pradesh Desk Tennis Affiliation beneath the aegis of All India Para Desk Tennis Affiliation.

Within the males’s Class-1 occasion, Dangi of Haryana defeated JD Madan of Tamil Nadu 8-11, 11-5, 7-11, 11-6. Karthik of Himachal Pradesh overcame Patrick D’Souza of Goa 11-5, 11-4, 11-4 to clinch the boys’s Class-2 title.

The glittering prize distribution ceremony was attended by Desk Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) Secretary Normal Mr Kamlesh Mehta, All India Tennis Affiliation Secretary Normal Mr Anil Dhupar, Mr Nagender Reddy Patel, Treasurer of TTFI and Madhya Pradesh Olympic Affiliation vice-president Mr Om Soni amongst others.

Within the ladies’s Class-6 class, Chandigarh’s Poonam defeated Bhavika Kukadia of Gujarat 11-8, 11-4, 11-2 to emerge the champion.

Within the corresponding Class-5 part, Bharati of Gujarat beat statemate Manisha Songara 11-6, 11-3, 11-4 to bag the medal.

Within the Class-7 competitors, Prachi of Uttar Pradesh defeated Dhawani Shah of Gujarat to emerge the winner. Prachi gained 11-8, 11-6, 11-4.

Pragati of Uttar Pradesh scored a facile 11-8, 11-5, 11-7 victory over Gujarat’s Bhavana Champaneri to seize the Class-8 title.

In Class 3, Sonal Patel beat Vidya Kumar 3-0 to bag the title whereas in Class 4 Bhavina Patel bagged the gold blanking Usha Rathore.

B Sahana bagged the highest award within the Class 10 occasion scoring a 3-0 win over Devyani Wahle.

Class 2: Datta Prasad Chougule beat Nishith 3-0

Class 3: Shubham Wadhwa beat Lloyd Fernandes 11-8, 11-6, 11-5

Class 4: Trivendra Kumar beat Sumit Sehgal 3-0

Class 5: R Algar beat Rishith Nathwani 11-5, 11-3, 11-4

Class 6: Y Bhamgara beat Yogesh Dagar 11-2, 11-6, 11-6

Class 7: H Sanjeev beat Sudipt Kumar 11-5, 11-2, 11-8.
