The largest unit to fabricate Apple iPhone in India is developing close to Hosur in Bengaluru, which can make use of round 60,000 folks, Telecom and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated on Tuesday.

Whereas talking on the Janjatiya Gaurav Divas ceremony, Vaishnaw stated that six thousand tribal girls residing close to Ranchi and Hazaribagh have been educated for making iPhones.

“Apple’s iPhone is now getting made in India and it is the most important plant in India is being arrange at Hosur close to Bengaluru. 60,000 folks work in a single manufacturing facility. The primary 6,000 staff of those 60,000 staff are our tribal sisters from locations close by Ranchi and Hazaribagh. Tribal sisters have been educated to make Apple iPhone,” the minister stated.

Apple has outsourced the manufacturing of iPhone enclosures to Tata Electronics, which has a plant at Hosur.
The corporate will get iPhones manufactured by electronics giants – Foxconn, Wistron and Pegatron in India.
