Bihar deputy chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Celebration chief Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday appeared earlier than Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Delhi for questioning in cash laundering case linked to railways land-for-jobs case, reported information company ANI.

The RJD chief was earlier questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), whereas his sister Misa Bharti was interrogated by ED in March in corruption and cash laundering probes linked to the land-for-jobs rip-off which allegedly came about when their father Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Union railway minister from 2004-09.
ED had claimed that it has discovered proceeds of crime price ₹600 crore within the land-for-jobs case together with the ₹150 crore price bungalow in New Mates Colony in Delhi.
CBI had grilled Yadav over alleged switch of land and properties within the names of his relations, folks accustomed to the event mentioned on situation of anonymity. The RJD chief had beforehand skipped three summons issued to him final month.
The case pertains to the alleged appointments of substitutes in Group D jobs in Central Railways from 2004-09 in violation of norms and procedures of the Indian Railways for recruitment. The CBI filed its first cost sheet within the case in October, naming Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti and 13 others.

Earlier, the ED had raided 24 areas together with Yadav’s Delhi residence, Patna, Ranchi and Mumbai in reference to the case.
On March 15, Delhi Rouse Avenue courtroom granted bail to Lalu Yadav, his spouse Rabri Devi, their daughter Misa Bharti, and 13 others accused within the case.
