He stated the get together goals to construct a peaceable, progressive and affluent Malnad-coastal area as soon as it attains energy within the State. The Congress will battle communal polarisation ‘promoted’ by the BJP within the area, he stated.

The Dwani Yatra will start from Sullia on February 5 and can be held in two phases. The second part of the yatra will start on February 16 and can proceed until March 10, he stated.

The yatra will cowl 26 constituencies within the area, comprising Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Kodagu, Chikkamagaluru and Shivamogga districts in 30 days, he stated.

Surjewala alleged that BJP had been garnering votes by dividing individuals alongside communal traces. The Congress will oppose the ‘politics of hatred’ unfold by the BJP, he stated.

Mangaluru will be was an IT hub just like Bengaluru. Nonetheless, the BJP authorities had didn’t faucet the town’s potential, he stated.
