Boulder will rejoice its annual Groundhog Day custom on Friday with an look from Flatiron Freddy, the town’s stuffed yellow-bellied marmot.
Boulder Open House and Mountain Parks rangers will kick off Flatiron Freddy’s arrival at 8 a.m. on the Chautauqua Ranger Cottage in Chautauqua Park, 900 Baseline Street and Ninth Road. Freddy will come out of his burrow to make his well-known climate prediction for the rangers to interpret.
