On the Multi Commodity Change of India (MCX), the gold contract for October supply was buying and selling at Rs 49,080.00 per 10 grams, down Rs 239.00 (0.48 per cent) at 2:22 pm whereas the silver contract for December supply was at Rs 54,580.00, down Rs 799.00 (1.44 per cent).
