Dec 22 (Reuters) – U.S. protection contractor CACI Worldwide (CACI) will purchase house know-how supplier ARKA Group from funds managed by Blackstone Tactical Alternatives for $2.6 billion, increasing its footprint in nationwide safety and space-based intelligence.
The all-cash deal, introduced on Monday, comes amid surging demand for protection and intelligence contracts, pushed by rising geopolitical tensions, elevated army spending by the USA and its allies, and larger funding in house, cyber and superior surveillance capabilities.
The acquisition will add ARKA’s space-based sensor techniques and software program, which help nationwide safety missions, together with work for the intelligence neighborhood and the U.S. Area Pressure, to CACI’s house portfolio. ARKA gives know-how used to course of and analyze knowledge for army and protection clients.
CACI Chief Govt John Mengucci stated the deal would bolster the firm’s capacity to drive long-term progress in free money circulate.
The transaction, possible to shut within the third quarter of fiscal 2026, is anticipated to generate a tax profit with a gift worth of about $225 million, CACI stated.
