Centre disbands MDMA formed to probe Rajiv Gandhi assassination case

The federal government has wound up the 24-year-old Multi-Disciplinary Monitoring Company (MDMA) constituted to probe the broader conspiracy into the assassination of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, officers have mentioned.

MDMA was working underneath the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and comprised officers from a number of central safety businesses.
