Leah Greenberg, co-executive director of Indivisible and an organizer of the “ICE Out for Good Weekend of Motion,” is among the organizers of the protests and mentioned she anticipated greater than 1,000 demonstrations throughout the nation all through the weekend.

The demonstrations are in response to this week’s killing of Renee Good by ICE agent Jonathan Ross in Minneapolis. Ross was seen on video capturing Good 3 times as she tried to drag out of a residential road.

“It’s high quality, dude, I’m not mad at you,” Good instructed Ross seconds earlier than he shot her.
